Red Rainbowfish
The Red Rainbowfish (Glossolepis incisus), also known as the New Guinea Red Rainbowfish, is a stunning freshwater species prized for its brilliant metallic red coloration and active schooling behavior. Juveniles gradually develop increasingly vibrant red coloration as they mature, especially when maintained in groups and high-quality water conditions.
At DSS Aquatics, all available specimens are healthy juvenile fish raised from our own breeder groups. Adult breeders are retained for future breeding projects while carefully grown juveniles are made available for sale.
These rainbowfish thrive in larger planted aquariums with open swimming space and become incredible centerpiece fish as they mature.
